William Grundt Memorial Library

Young craft lovers can head to the William Grundt Memorial Library to take part in sand art and quirky decorations workshops (6-12 year olds). The Library is also hosting french knitting for youth 12+

    

Goldfields Arts Centre

Budding Artists are encouraged to enter the Goldfields Art Centre's fabulous Kids Art Competition. There are a range of workshops to help young artists prepare for the exhibition, covering everything from painting skies to drawing animals. Find out more here.

Learn how to make musical instruments out of recycled material.

Join us at the William Grindr Memorial Library for a free school holiday recycling workshop, inspired by The Box Show which is coming to Goldfields Arts Centre later in July.

This activity is suitable for kids 6+ with parent/guardian supervision.

Boulder Town Hall and War Museum

Honouring this year's NAIDOC Week, the City's Heritage Services team in partnership with the Goldfields Aboriginal Language Centre are hosting 'Mrs Kaparli's Wild Animal Discovery'. 

Families can take wonder throughout the historic Burt St. Boulder, beginning at the Boulder Town Hall,  and visit shops along Burt St. to find posters featuring Mrs Kaparli. They can write down the local Aboriginal names of animals on the posters and return to the Town Hall to collect a prize.
