Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No - it's KidsFest landing back in Kalgoorlie-Boulder! 

This family-favourite event is back for another jam-packed weekend of fun this April.

Back to its original location, the Oasis Playing Fields, KidsFest is the ultimate festival for Kids under the age of 12.

Meet the PJ Masks!

It's time to be a hero! Join Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko to learn what it takes to be a hero and a member of the PJ Masks team! In this high-energy, interactive training session, budding heroes of all ages will have fun whilst learning the secrets to thwarting the night-time Villains.

Sing, dance, and perform each of the PJ Masks' special power moves and discover the real meaning of being a hero.

Amy's Wild Adventures

Amy is bringing her collection of reptiles on a road trip to Kalgoorlie! Come along, chat with Amy and visit her friends which may include:

Huge Carpet Python, Groot, Black-headed Python, Shine, Olive Python, Kimberley

Big beautiful Woma Python, Glow

Two adorable Stimson’s Pythons, Ekans and Arboc

Beautiful Bobtail, stunning Barking Geckos, Pluto and Jupiter (display only)

Sun Runners

Get ready for the most daring, dangerous, heart-stopping race in the universe - the Sun Run, a lap of the entire solar system and around the sun.

Plunge headfirst into an immersive space adventure. With a pair of headphones and a mobile device, you become a Sun Runner, hurtling across the farthest reaches of the solar system in the race of your life.

Circus Surfer

Aidan brings you juggling, comedy, hand stands, and balance acts to his solo surfer themed show - the Circus Surfer!

Growing up on the coast south of Perth, Aidan was very lucky to live 200 metres from the ocean. Anything on the sea was a daily routine for him, and it is his love of the ocean and circus that he has combined in “The Circus Surfer”, a fabulously entertaining show for all the family!

Aidan has toured to the United Kingdom, training and performing overseas and interstate, and now works mainly in Western Australia as a professional entertainer, rigger and circus trainer.

Acrobatic Bouncers

Get ready to be Surprised! Slack Taxi's Acrobatic Bouncers have found a new way to use car tyres and fit-balls! Tumbling and bouncing through the event, the Acrobatic Bouncers are exclusive to Slack Taxi, Created in Adelaide by the Slack Taxi team and designer Stephen Hayter they have been a hit for over 20 years at major events around the world!

The Bouncers have toured to Europe, Japan, Singapore and Papua New Guinea as well as all over Australia.

Interactive and hilarious, the Bouncing performers are loads of fun as they launch themselves over each other, bouncing and rolling around the event, or stopping for a bouncy handshake and photos with the fans. Don't be shy - they are here for a great time!

Sand Sculptures WA

Come and watch master sand sculptor Tim Darby from SandsculptureWA as he creates a special masterpiece especially for our Festival.

Tim has worked all over WA and we are excited to have him in Kalgoorlie-Boulder! You can even join him on Saturday and Sunday afternoon to make your own masterpiece!

Heaps Good Show

Imagine if your job involved flipping, flying, tumbling and acrobatics! Well for Nathan Kell, it is just that.

Nat has been doing circus since he was 11, and went on to train at the National Institute of Circus Arts in the early 2000's. He is a talented acrobat who has performed with an array of Australian Circus companies including Circus Oz, plus also has his own solo show the Heaps Good Show!

Nat loves nothing more than to put on a show for an enthusiastic family crowd, and he certainly shows it!

Including people out of the crowd he has everyone laughing as well as in awe of his skill and death defying feats! It is excitement and a fun time all rolled into one.


Hook A Duck

Dive into the excitement of Hook A Duck! Our duck pond is teeming with hundreds of colourful ducks, kept in motion by an electric pump for an added challenge.

Penguin Fish Fling

Embark on the ultimate fish-flinging adventure with Penguin Fish Fling! Using spring-loaded foot pedals, test your skills as you fling fish into baskets, aiming for a high score and a boatload of fun.

X5 Academy – Parkour

With over 10 years of experience performing, X5 will surely impress even the most stubborn of crowds. Performing every flip, twist and jump in the book, X5 will blow your mind on what you thought was humanly possible. They will demonstrate their moves while you have a go yourself at parkour and learn from them.

Old MacDonalds Farm

Farmer Chris and his travelling farm of cute and cuddly animals including chickens, goats, ducks, dogs and sheep will be ready for all the pats and cuddles they can get over the weekend.

Party on the Green

Back once again at KidsFest, the popular Mobile Mini golf course is back! Come along and test your skills and see how many holes in one you can get!

Go Karts

OzKidZKarts are returning with their karts and track for more fast-paced go-kart racing. The karts are safe for young drivers (4yrs up) and are safe for the environment as they are battery-powered! Make sure you get in quick as these prove to be popular

Cheese Cricket

Engage in a unique challenge with Cheese Cricket – a game that combines the thrill of cricket with the strategy of navigating a cheesy maze. Use the cords attached to the ring to guide the cricket ball to the top of the board, avoiding the tempting cheese holes along the way. With various sizes and degrees of difficulty, each level presents a new challenge. The closer the cheese holes are, the more skill and precision are required.

Monkey Bikes

Experience the joy of Monkey Bikes – fully functional, bright green bicycles that bring laughter to both kids and adults!

Don't forget the basics to make sure you can focus on having a blast throughout the two-day event.

📍Familiarise yourself with the event map and talk to your children about where to go if they lose you. Our friendly team will be under the City’s marquee ready to help.
