An ART ON THE MOVE Learning and Engagement program
Presented by Gabby Howlett
Explore ways to use your original artwork to create products and merchandise. Bring an original artwork or a photo of it (can be a painting, print, sculpture, drawing or textile piece) and be walked through the process of developing bespoke artist merchandise.
Gabby Howlett has been working as a product developer for over 8 years, from First Nations merchandise that shares culture, to quilts made from textile waste for remote communities to silk scarves for fancy gallery shops. She works closely with artists to explore ways they can produce products and merchandise that enhance or compliment their creative practice and add value to everyday life.
