Marcelito Pomoy is a world class Filipino singing sensation who has incredible ability to sing both Soprano and Tenor. His unique talent was discovered by the Philippines Got Talent franchise in 2011 where he was the grand winner of that series. As a result of that success, he became an overnight Superstar and was invited to appear as a contestant on the Champion Series of America’s Got Talent and ended up 4th overall from 40 world class contestants. He was also invited to make a guest appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres television show and other media outlets. This success has catapulted him to perform on a world tour. He has received critical acclaim from the World’s most respected voice coaches.

Marcelito was homeless from the age of seven. His father was jailed, leaving him to live in the streets while he took on add jobs to survive. He discovered his talent of singing whilst working on a farm. At 18 years of age, Marcelito learnt to sing both male and female voices and could perform a duet on his own. Later, he was persuaded to perform for an audience that could actually appreciate his outstanding talent, for the sole purpose of being reunited with his family.

Marcelito achieved his purpose and his voice and talent has brought him outstanding success. Marcelito never forgets where he came from and thus uses his wealth to financially uplift the lives of poor people in the Philippines. We are delighted to be able to invite him to the Goldfields to perform through the OZ Pinoy Production Company in conjunction with the generous support of Filmart Asian Shop, Kalgoorlie.
