The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has recently completed Hay Street Shared Path Link to Town Centre Project, on Hay Street between Lane Street and Usher Park. The total project cost came to $982,658 and was co-funded by State Government and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder as part of the WA Bicycle Networks Grants Program.
The completed SUP runs 1895 meters and was developed to connect these paths with the existing cycling network. It provides access to key destinations including Town Centre, Gribble Creek SUP- secondary route, Rotary Peace Park, Usher Park, Centennial Park and the City’s admin building.
This initiative allows residents and visitors the ability to walk, wheel or ride in a safe and sustainable way.
The City completed the SUP in February 2026 and now invites members of the community to make use of the new path.
