Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has received an application for development approval for a change of use to a place of worship and signage (D079/25) at the site below, and public comments are invited:

Lot No: 5 (Strata Lot 1)
Street: No. 49 Hannan Street
Suburb: Kalgoorlie, 6430

Proposal: Place of worship with a reception area, prayer room, meditation/yoga room, and verandah fascia and below awning signage.

Details of the proposal are available to the public at: yoursay.ckb.wa.gov.au/planning-notices (online) or 577 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie WA 6430 (hard copy).

Submissions may be made on the proposal up until Thursday, 18 September 2025. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that date.

Submissions should be marked “D079/25 Change of use - Place of Worship and Signage” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, PO Box 2024, Boulder WA 6432, or emailed to mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au.
