Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

The local government has received an application to use land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

- Suburb: Somerville
Proposal: Amend condition 3 of an existing development approval (P028/22) for the approved Workforce Accommodation Facility, which includes the following detail:
- The development of the site as a Workforce Accommodation Facility was approved on 15 August 2022 (P028/22; DAP/22/02195), with the approval expiring on 15 August 2027. The applicant proposes the following amendment to Condition 3 of the approval:
3) This approval is valid for fifteen (15) years from the date of occupancy. Following expiry of this period, all development works must be demolished, materials removed from the site unless a further development approval is granted by the City.

Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending on 16 May 2026. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that date.
