Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

The City has received an application for a “Crisis and Transitional Accommodation” (Community Purpose & Residential Building) on the below-mentioned property (Reference No. D067/26). Under the Residential Zone the proposal is an “A” use (community purpose) and a “D” use (residential building – crisis accommodation) under Local Planning scheme No 2. Prior to the City considering the proposal, comments from surrounding owners/occupiers are invited:

• Lot No: 3, 4, 2977, 2978 & 2979
• Street: 4 – 10 Park Street
• Suburb: Kalgoorlie WA 6430

Proposal:

• 19 self-contained single-storey accommodation units, including 11 one-bedroom crisis accommodation units and 8 two-bedroom transitional units;
• A single-storey administration building; and
• 24 on-site car bays and three bicycle bays.

Submissions may be made on the proposal up until Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that date.
