Notice of Public Advertisement of Structure Plan Amendment Proposal

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has received an application to amend the previously approved Hannans Outline Development Plan for the following purpose, and public comment is invited.
Suburb: Hannans
Amendments:
- Figure 6.1 and Figure 11.1 were modified to incorporate provisions that serviced apartments become an “Additional Use” for Lot 205 Aslett Drive;
- Modify the Structure Plan into a Part 1/Part 2 format as per the Structure Plan Guidelines, to be presented in a manner and form approved by the Commission;
- Reflect subdivision approvals that have been approved by the Commission;
- Update the Structure Plan based on town planning, urban design, hydrological, environmental, and engineering investigations by Development WA’s project consultant team; and
- Extend the duration of approval of the Structure Plan (as amended) for a further 10years from the date it is approved by the Commission.

Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending Monday 19 June 2024. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that date. Submissions should be marked ‘Hanans Outline Development Plan Amendment No.02’ and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, PO Box 2024, Boulder WA 6432, or emailed to mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au.
