Proposed Temporary Closure of Laneway - Boulder Road to Goldfields Arts Centre, Kalgoorlie

The City is about to commence construction of a Community Events Pavilion on the carpark that is adjacent to the Goldfields Arts Centre in Cheetham St, Kalgoorlie.
In order to undertake the necessary construction of the Community Events Pavilion it will be necessary to temporarily close the carpark and the portion of the laneway which abuts the carpark.
The period of closure is from mid October 2025 until June 2026.
As the laneway is a public thoroughfare the City is required to give local public notice of its intention to close a portion of the laneway and allow a reasonable time for any submissions to be made on the proposed closure, in accordance with Section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995.
