Temporary Road Closure – Intersection of Burt St and Lionel St

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder hereby provides notice in accordance with Section 3.50 of The Local Government Act 1995 of the proposed temporary closure of the intersection of Burt St and Lionel St, Boulder from 19 October – 27 November 2026.

The closure will allow for the reconstruction of roundabout at the intersections of Burt St and Lionel St. The works will involve reconstructing the existing roundabout to enhance pavement conditions, manage surface runoff, and improve pedestrian accessibility. This project is funded by the Blackspot Program.

Detour will be in place to minimise inconvenience and ensure that access to local properties and businesses are maintained. Residents will be assisted while accessing their properties.

The City invites submissions as part of this proposal in writing to the City by no later than 11 October 2026.
