AWAKENING | Opening Event

Please join us at the Goldfields Arts Centre for light refreshments as we launch Jose Bacarreza's exhibition, AWAKENING.
In Awakening, Jose Bacarreza invites viewers to cross the threshold between the visible and the imagined.
His paintings unfold as dreams suspended between ruin and rebirth — where an abandoned car becomes a garden, a sleeping figure guards celestial eggs and nature itself awakens as consciousness.
Blending myth, memory and the Australian landscape, Bacarreza paints not what is seen, but what is remembered and felt — the moment when light, matter and spirit meet.
All artwork on display will be available to purchase for the duration of the exhibition.
