Bring your holiday spirit and join us for some festive family fun!

Sunday 30 November | 4pm-8pm | Burt Street, Hamilton Street + Loopline Park

Our annual Christmas Street Party and lighting of the Christmas tree returns to Burt Street, Hamilton Street and Loopline Park on Sunday 30 November.

Enjoy non-stop live music and performers on the main stage, keep the kids entertained with free activities including water slides and a foam pit, browse gifts from local market stalls, treat yourself to some tasty eats from our food vendors, and much more!

A very jolly special guest will help us with the lighting of the Christmas tree, before we wrap up the evening with a spectacular fireworks finale.

Visit from Santa

Santa Claus’s visit is always a highlight! Kids eagerly await the chance to see the man in the red suit to say hello.

The lighting of the Christmas tree is a magical moment that brings the community together!

Entertainment and Food

This family-friendly event is packed to the brim with activities, on-stage entertainment, food vendors and much more.

Important Event Information:

• Lighting of the Christmas Tree is scheduled for 7:30pm, followed by the fireworks show
• Be sun smart - remember your sunscreen, hat and water bottles
• While some stalls and shops may have EFTPOS, please remember to bring cash so you can shop local and support all the attending stalls
• Lost child point is located at the St John’s Ambulance
• Toilets available in Loopline and Burt Street
• Pack a change of clothes if the kids will be enjoying the water activities or foam pit
• The Christmas Street Party is a smoke, vape, and alcohol-free event

Parking and Shuttle Bus Information:

• Accessible parking is available on Hamilton Street
• Free parking is available at Digger Daws
• Shuttle buses will be running during the event between 4pm and 8pm from Digger Daws Oval to Lane Street. Last bus leaves Stage Left Theatre at 9pm.

Road Closures:

• Burt St and Hamilton St will be closed from 10am to 10pm on Sunday 30 November
