Get ready for a jam-packed celebration of youth in our city. Together with our Youth Council we're thrilled to present a range of exciting events designed to inspire, engage, and empower young people. From music workshops to an outdoor movie night and skateboarding competition, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Outdoor Movie Night
It's the perfect way to start off Youth Week with a touch of magic and wonder with the movie Wonka! Bring your blankets, snacks, and friends for a night to remember.

Monster Music Truck Workshops
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned musician, these sessions offer the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and collaborate with fellow music enthusiasts.
Dive deeper into techniques, explore new sounds, and refine your craft alongside expert instructors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn practical advice for a career in music.

Build Up Skateboarding: Let's Build a Half Pipe!
This half-pipe will be used throughout the year as the Youth Precinct works continue and will then be relocated and used at future events and different locations.

Build Up Skateboarding Skate Park Competition
Whether you're a pro or just starting out, come and watch or share your talent! This event will top off a fantastic Youth Week.

- All events are free with no pre-registration required
- Events are recommended for 12+ years. Children under this age must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
- All Youth Week events are smoke, vape, drug and alcohol free.
